Our in house waxing experts at In Vogue Skin and Beatuy Blackrock offer a wide range of hair removal treatments and use the award winning Waxperts wax so your waxing experience is as pain free as possible.

A 24 hour patch test must be carried out before all waxing treatments unless waxed in last 6 months with us. 

FAQ Waxing

    • We use Waxperts Wax in the salon.  

    • Because hairs are removed a long with their roots the treatment isn’t completely painless- or at least not the first time.

    • That depends on the hair removal method you have been using up until now. It can last up to a month. Ultimately, however, your rate of hair growth is the determining factor.

    • Your hair's have to be at least 1cm to ensure a clean wax. If the hairs are any shorter than that the wax may not be able to grip them.

    • Yes, you can still get waxing done when you’re pregnant, however your skin might feel a little bit more sensitive in certain areas.

    • It is recommended not to wax over a sunburnt area and to wait for the skin to fully recover before getting waxed.
