FAQ Threading

    • Everyone's hair grows at a different rate, but on average, hair removal from threading can last between 2 and 5 weeks.

    • You'll be asked to pull your eyelids in opposing directions, so the skin is taught and easy for the therapist to work on and more comfortable for you.

    • Yes threading is hygienic. The Therapist only uses one short piece of thread which is anti-bacterial thread per person. She will have an entire spool with her, so there's no need to worry that she will be using the same thread on multiple clients.

    • Threading is a method of hair removal originating in India and Central Asia. In more recent times it has gained popularity in Western countries, especially with a cosmetic application. It is a popular way of removing unwanted hair.

    • Threading is a technique that uses 100 % cotton thread to remove unwanted facial hair. So basically no chemicals are used. The thread only pulls the hair and not the skin. The repetition of threading is great for your skin because is it like a mini massage which is great for your skin's blood flow.

    • Threading does not make upper lip hair grow back darker. It does not change the colour of upper lip area.

    • You might experience some redness or swelling soon after threading due to the pressure caused on skin from the thread. An after care solution is used to help with this & you must follow your after care advise.
